A six-week resilience training for individuals, couples, or groups

Often people move through life expecting that “once this…”, or “once that…” then eventually challenges will disappear. In truth, however, life is messy; stress and adversity, ranging from little hassles and inconveniences, to major life events and losses, will always be a part of our experience. What can change, however, is the way that we are able to show up to what is showing up for us. 

While it may feel we have limited control over what happens, we can choose how we respond. This is what resilience is all about. Resilience is also about the capacity to move into the growth opportunities inherent in stressful times.

We all have the capacity to improve our resilience. But, let’s make this very clear: we cannot practice and learn resilience without first being exposed to stress! Are you ready to practice embracing stress and adversity as an opportunity for growth?

Mindfulness & Meditation
A four-week mindfulness and meditation experience in a small-group setting (4-6 participants)

Learn meditation for the first time, or deepen your practice and experience of everyday mindfulness. Meet with Miriam in a small group setting over four sessions to explore the basic science and philosophy behind mindfulness and meditation. Practice different meditation techniques and learn tools to bring more mindfulness to your daily life without a huge lifestyle overhaul. As you reacquaint yourself with your inner wisdom, experience the deep peace, the profound creativity and the flow of wellbeing available to you.

  • Four 60-minute sessions

  • Requires a weekly commitment for four weeks

  • An optional 20-minute private, post-workshop consultation

Group Experience
$195 + GST, per person

Groups are held with a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 6 participants.
